War Horse (2011) is a film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Jeremy Irvine. The film based on a children fictional novel "War Horse" written by Michael Morpurgo which is about the relationship of a horse and its owner during the first World War. War Horse is set for released in Decemnber 28, 2011 through Touchtone Pictures (US) and Focus Features (Non-US).
This movie follows a young man named Albert and his horse, Joey, and how their bond is broken when Joey is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of World War One. Despite being too young to enlist, Albert heads to France to save his friend.
